On 11 February, a delegation from the "Kazgiprotsvetmet" LLP headed by the Production Director Galina Khivrich visited the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University.
The guests were introduced to the scientific potential of the university and a tour in the laboratories was conducted. They were especially interested in the material and technical base, including the sector of microscopy and mobile laboratory.
The excursion with participation of the delegation from the "Kazgiprotsvetmet" was continued with a meeting with the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Methodological Work Zhadyra Konurbayeva and Deans of Schools where questions of cooperation were discussed.
- We are ready to meet your demands in the field of personnel preparation and can expand cooperation in research and develop a joint educational program. The university not only educates, it conducts a wide range of research in a wide variety of fields, - proposed the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Methodological Work.
The Production Director Khivrich Galina Aleksandrovna noted that the "Kazgiprotsvetmet" LLP was a large enterprise whose activities covered the entire Kazakhstan, and besides, all heads of the production divisions graduated from the EKSTU.
- The "Kazgiprotsvetmet" Institute is open for cooperation with your university. We hope for a promising cooperation in organizing internships and the possibility of employing graduates on a permanent basis, - summarized Grechukhin Aleksandr Vasilyevich, the Head of the President's Office of the company.
In conclusion, the delegation of the "Kazgiprotsvetmet" LLP praised the work of the university and reported readiness to sign a memorandum.
