What is AI-Sana?
AI-Sana is a strategic project to introduce artificial intelligence into the system of higher and scientific education in Kazakhstan. The aim of the project is to train a new generation of specialists capable of developing and implementing AI solutions in key sectors of the economy: energy, agro—industrial complex, water management and digital management.
The project brings together universities, research centers, industry partners, and government agencies to create a unified ecosystem of knowledge, innovation, and technological entrepreneurship. The website presents the areas of study, acceleration stages, scientific component and participation opportunities for students, teachers and organizations.

Domestic and international educational programs in the field of AI technologies can contribute to strengthening the human resources potential of our country. I am instructing the Government to work out the issue of phased implementation of the AISana program for training specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. The program should contribute to the formation of a dynamic ecosystem combining training, research and development of startups. It is necessary to use the experience of acceleration of the world's leading universities. It is necessary to bring to every citizen of Kazakhstan the benefits of artificial intelligence, explain why it is needed and how it will be used correctly.

What is the main goal of the "AI-Sana" program?
The goal is to provide undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students in specialized fields with additional competencies in Artificial Intelligence and AI entrepreneurship. This will enable future specialists to not only gain a deep understanding of their professional domain but also effectively apply AI technologies to optimize workflows and solve pressing industry-specific challenges.
Who can participate in the "AI-Sana" Program?
The requirements for participants are:
- Current undergraduate, Master’s, and PhD students of higher and (or) postgraduate education organizations in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Bolashak International Scholarship recipients (Master's and PhD) studying in 2026.
- Completion of basic AI courses within Phase I of the AI-Sana program or other recognized AI courses.
- Basic knowledge of the English language (an English proficiency certificate is not required)*.
*Note: Basic English is necessary for further progress in the program, as working with AI models, coding (Python), and specialized materials is conducted in English, where the quality and accuracy of AI responses are highest.
What are the benefits of participating in the "AI-Sana" Program?

Selection for Phase II of the "AI-Sana" Program runs from March 2 to March 15, 2026 (until 23:59).

How long does the course last?
Phase II of the "AI-Sana" Program lasts for 2.5 months.
