D.Serikbayev EKTU was visited by a delegation headed by the executive director of the Turkish company "YIldirim Holding Kazakhstan" Dmitry Tkachenko. YIldirim Holding is the largest Turkish holding operating in fifty countries on four continents in the field of container shipping, mining, chemical and electric power industries. Now the company, together with the joint stock company "Kazgeology" is carrying out exploration work in the East Kazakhstan region.
Vice-Rector for Research and Digitalization, Professor Nataliya Denissova informed the guests about educational programs in geology and told about the developments of university scientists in this area. , Professor Boris Dyachkov, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan also attended meeting, he is leading researcher at the School of Earth and Environmental Sciences. Professor Dyachkov has extensive experience in geological exploration. In addition, he brought up a great number of young scientists.
After identifying possible areas of cooperation, the guests were acquainted with the material and technical base of the university. Representatives of company "YIldirim Holding Kazakhstan" visited the research and production complexes Prototyping and Material Processing Metallurgy of the VERITAS Center, the analytical research laboratory and the center of competence and technology transfer in the field of construction and building materials.
