Innovative educational program

«COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH SPECIALIZATION IN VIRTUAL AND AUGUMENTED REALITY» (BSc)

«COMPUTER SCIENCE WITH SPECIALIZATION IN HUMAN-COMPUTER INTERFACES» (MSc)

Study levels: undergraduate, postgraduate

Language of instruction: English

Relevance of the program:

One of the latest interfaces for Human-Computer interaction is technology that is called «augmented reality» (AR). Augmented reality (AR) is the technology that combines digital components and reality. When users use this technology they can interact with virtual content in real world, besides they preserve possibility to perceive where there is the reality and where is not. In the nearest future AR/VR will become important instruments at a working place because technologies are so advanced that improved corporative and working processes. As a consequence, there will be urgent need to train such specialists as AR/VR designers very soon. AVR/AR designer is a specialist who is responsible for the process of computer modeling of events, environment and scenarios of augmented and virtual reality. This specialist must completely maintain the process of intended virtual projects realization for their further use in the sphere of machinery engineering, business, medicine, education and entertainment.
