The children were met at the railway station in Semey and brought by bus to Ust-Kamenogorsk. They were accommodated in the Dormitory No. 3 and rested after a long journey.
The day after arrival, they had a busy day. After breakfast, the group underwent a physical examination. The first excursion point were the laboratories of the D. Serikbayev EKSTU. The children were inspired by the scientific atmosphere, asked questions and showed interest in technology.
In the "Grand Altai" Museum, they got to know the history of the East Kazakhstan because it was their first time in the region.
The children were shown the attraction of the city - the confluence of the Irtysh and Ulba rivers - as well as the memorial complex.
The "Pizza Blues" chain of cafes and restaurants treated the children with delicious lunch.
The day ended with a walk in the Ethnic Park.
The day after, the children are going to spend an entire season at the "Prostor" Summer Expedition Campus.
