Delegation of EKSTU visited the ECM Technologies located in Grenoble

This group of companies produces vacuum furnaces for metal processing for aerospace and automotive industries as well as equipment for production of lithium batteries. ECM is a big supplier in the market of photovoltaics and solar energy as well. The delegation was shown all the workshops of the factory.
The visit was fruitful. The parties have discussed the opportunity of creating at the EKSTU a master degree educational program for preparation of specialists in the area of photovoltaics, production of solar batteries and other alternative sources of energy with the opportunity to study and intern at ECM Technologies.  
As a result of the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed under which a development of a pilot line on the basis of EKSTU  is planned for production of lithium batteries from technogenic mineral formations of the East Kazakhstan.
