Program Relevance:

Currently, the priority direction of the development of metallurgical enterprises is their modernization and introduction of advanced domestic and foreign technologies into production. Holding such large-scale events is impossible without training highly qualified personnel. Staff training is conducted with the constant consultation of doctors and candidates of sciences, doctors of philosophy(PhD), including foreign ones, who are actively working in the field of knowledge under study and have experience in scientific management. Training of highly qualified specialists in the applied field of production activities at industrial enterprises, who are ready to apply standard methods of calculating technological processes, who know the forms and methods of working with personnel, who are able to model processes, develop and justify proposals for their improvement.

Objective of EP:

The educational program has a scientific and pedagogical orientation and involves fundamental educational, methodological and research training in the field of metallurgy and processing of mineral and man-made raw materials using the experience of domestic and foreign universities, as well as research centers.

Competence model of a graduate

  • creation of innovative technologies and materials in the field of production of non-ferrous, rare and scattered metals, powder metallurgy, participation in scientific research, design, patent and innovation activities;
  • development of a feasibility study for the project in order to introduce new technologies;
  • rational use of materials, equipment, etc.
