EKSTU delegation participated in the education opening week in China

An event was held in Guiyang.

From July 22 to 23, discussions on cooperation in the field of education were held. There were discussions on partnerships between universities and enterprises and support for joint preparatory programs.

The event was attended by representatives of universities of Kazakhstan, headed by the Consul for Scientific and Technical Education of the PRC in Almaty Mi Guysyun: the D. Serikbayev EKSTU, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, S. Amanzholov, KIMEP, K. Satpayev KazNTU, "VShOZ" KazMU, KBTU, IMC and over 2400 representatives and students from China, ASEAN member countries, and 7 partner countries: Kazakhstan, Russia, Switzerland, Uzbekistan, Mexico, Rwanda and Mongolia.

As a part of the week, China and ASEAN jointly intensify educational cooperation. The guests took part in 10 parallel forums, including 22 small projects, where much attention is paid to enhancing cooperation in the field of higher, vocational and preschool education, updating and training entrepreneurs in universities and issues of cooperation between universities and enterprises, as well as among youth.

From 2008 to the present, the China-ASEAN Education Exchange Week event has evolved into a high-level platform and is a reliable connecting bridge between China and ASEAN and other countries.

ASEAN consists of 10 states. The direct generators are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, joined later by Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.

Participants visited the Alibaba Campus Taur and the Business School Center and met with the Vice President of Global Initiatives Academic Committee of the Alibaba Group Brien A. Wong, Partner Matthew Kung and Specialist Katie Hu. The educational exhibitions of universities in China and Malaysia were also attended.
