The EKSTU Rector met with representatives of LLP "SAP" and JSC "Azia Avto" in the framework of which trilateral collaboration was discussed.
SAP is a German company that makes enterprise software for organizations.
The main objective of the joint partner work is preparation of young specialists and realization of joint educational projects in the interests of the largest regional enterprises. As noted by the EKSTU Rector, East Kazakhstan is a major industrial center of the republic. Our university works closely with all the industrial enterprises. For example, three projects are being implemented with JSC "Azia Avto". The East Kazakhstan State Technical University prepares engineers for the machine-building industry.
Our country is faced with the task of entering the list of the top-30 of the most developed countries in the world, and this requires innovative development and accelerated technological upgrading. Our university pays special attention to the IT sphere, and updates educational programs, trains faculty, and develops new technology. By uniting our efforts, we solve tasks that are relevant for the region.
«There are many technical universities in Kazakhstan but we want to launch this process and train personnel here. Enterprises need qualified staff. In ten years, a lot has been changed in the universities, and successful laboratories have been launched. What is the most important is to create a foundation for SAP to become a part of curriculum," says the General Director of LLP "SAP" Evgeny Teremov.
The guests became interested in the university's VR technology. Augmented and virtual reality is becoming more popular with major industrial enterprises in the world.
