Recently, freshmen for the first time crossed the threshold of the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University. In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, students began the academic year online and only now switched to a blended learning format.
In order for the first day at the university to be remembered for many years, members of the university student government prepared a surprise for the freshmen. There were organized various competitions for freshmen. The students got to know each other and had a fun break between classes.
More than 450 students have come to the university, who attended classes according to the approved schedule. At the entrance to the building, the students were disinfected and measured their body temperature. Further, observing the distance they walked in the classroom and laboratory.
