For the first time in the history of the EKSTU, the university launches the “Social Media Marketing” Innovative Educational Program

On April 24, the EKSTU launched the “Social Media Marketing” (SMM) Innovative Educational Program. Event participants were faculty, staff, students, and partners of the educational program.

The relevance of the SMM Innovative Educational Program is preparation of a modern specialist who has skills of a market research analyst, journalist, PR-specialist, and an experienced user of social media combined!

Preparation of specialists of the program will be conducted jointly with the International Information Technology University (IITU).

According to the First Vice-Rector Saule Rakhmetullina, “Social Media Marketing” will prepare highly qualified specialists in the area of marketing and journalism who are professionally proficient in media planning technology, development and realization of strategies in the digital environment, instruments of digital and marketing communication for realization of business objectives and achieving company development goals.

During opening ceremony, Vice-Rector for Administrative and Applied Activities of the International Information Technology University (IITU), Medet Turganbayev and First Vice-Rector Saule Rakhmetullina carried out the symbolic rite “Tusau keser” – “Cutting shackles”.

After the opening ceremony, the two universities signed a cooperation agreement in the framework of the joint educational program “Social Media Marketing”.
