On February 9, 2019 professor Rainer Sawatzki from Hamburg University, Germany visited D.Serikbayev EKSTU. Nazgul Yerdybaeva - Dean of School of Information technologies, initiated this invitation.
During the meeting, possibilities of Hamburg university scientists teaching at EKSTU within the frames of innovative educational programs were discussed as well as implementation of Master students’ internships in Germany and development of joint scientific projects under Erasmus+. Professor Sawatzki had a possibility to listen to a lecture on higher mathematics of Dossan Baygereyev – Dean of Mathematical and Computer Modeling Department and highly evaluated scientific potential of the young scientist. The guest was strongly expressed by the technological infrastructure of the university. Professor Rainer Sawatzki noted that the most complex research could be performed on the base of EKSTU laboratories and proposed joint implementation of a project at the intersection of geology and ecology on cleaning industrial water.
