On 12 September 2019, Higher IT College of the D. Serikbayev EKSTU hosted opening of an auditorium equipped by Kaz Minerals LLP, for students specializing in "Enrichment of Minerals Resources". The auditorium is located at the following address: auditorium 304, "Г-3" building, 19 Serikbayev Street.
The class is equipped for 14.7 million tenge: equipment for laboratory and practical work is provided for by the training program on the processes of crushing, grinding, flotation and thickening. Kaz Minerals LLP also launches a 10-month training program with the allocation of 15 grants and the issuance of diplomas in the specialty "Enrichment of Minerals Resources".
The opening ceremony was attended by Johan Barnard, Technical Director of KAZ Minerals Group and Paul Gahagan, Director of the Human Resources Department of KAZ Minerals Group. The guests told students about the company and wished them success in mastering the profession.
According to the Rector of the EKSTU Professor Zhassulan Shaimardanov, a quality-oriented practical training of specialists can be implemented only in cooperation with enterprises. Cooperation with Kaz Minerals LLP is an excellent example of a thoughtful approach to the implementation of personnel policy.
The opening of the auditorium took place within the framework of the project of Kaz Minerals LLP "Super College".
