New breakthrough projects in the field of materials science with foreign researchers are planned at the D. Serikbayev EKSTU

 11 September 2019

On Thursday, 5 September 2019, the Vice Rector for Internationalization Professor Abraham Atta Ogwu met with researchers from Ukraine and Poland at the EKSTU International Office to discuss new breakthrough ideas in the field of materials science and plan joint scientific projects. Prof. Ogwu invited senior researchers of the E.O.Platon Institute of Electric Welding (Kiev, Ukraine) - candidates of technical sciences Sergey Voinarovych and Oleksandr Kyslytsia, associate professor of the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology (Wroclaw, Poland), Dr. Leszek Łatka, PhD, and Professor of the EKSTU Darya Alontseva, PhD, in order to learn about their experience in the field of creating plasma coatings, discuss promising areas for joint research and expand the research network. The meeting was very productive and the material scientists found many promising ideas for joint promising developments in the field of creating new materials and processes for the oil and gas industry, medicine, and mechanical engineering.
