Our university has been working with Kazan Federal University for several years. Back in 2013, a memorandum of understanding between universities for cooperation in the field of science, education and training of specialists was signed. On 12 October 2018, Rector of the EKSTU Professor Zhassulan Shaimardanov visited KFU as a part of the delegation of the East Kazakhstan region, headed by the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region. After that, in the fall of 2018, a memorandum was signed again.
Today, negotiations were held with KFU Rector Ilshat Rafkatovich Gafurov, KFU Vice Rector Dmitry Albertovich Tayursky, KFU Vice Rector for Engineering Nail Faikovich Kashapov and Directors of the Institutes. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was signed, within the framework of which it is planned to launch joint work in the areas of IT, digitalization, engineering, additive technologies, robotics and virtual augmented reality. In addition, it is planned to create joint educational programs based at the EKSTU.
