On 13 May 2019, a delegation composed of the Vice Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Fatima Zhakypova, Deputy Chair of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerkin Sadykov, Acting Head of the International Cooperation Office of the Ministry of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gulnar Aubakirova, Chief Expert of the International Cooperation Office of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Samanta Kazikhanova, President of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Zhurinov, Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages Dinara Dauen, Director of the Confucius Institute of the Gumilev Eurasian National University Saule Koshanova, Director of the Research Institute of Agroinnovations and Ecology of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Sagynbai Kaldybayev, Doctor of the Sub-Department of Agrochemistry of the Kazakh National Agrarian University Nurzikhan Seitkali, Vice Rector of the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University Oleg Gavrilenko visited the Tsinghua University. During the visit, there were discussions with the Director of the Tsinghua University about cooperation with the CIS countries. Tsinghua University is one of leading universities of the Republic of China, which is one of nine leading universities of China. The Kazakhstan delegation visited the famous picturesque university campus built on top of Shui Mu Qing Hua - former Imperial Park in the north-west of Beijing.
